Before you find me in a movie theater, you’ll find me wandering the halls of the Louvre, sitting in cafes, and exploring Paris.
I have been across the globe: photographing stories in the great cathedrals of America, finding love beneath the Eiffel Tower, chasing adventure across the great dunes of White Sands, New Mexico, and seeking wisdom in the mystical streets of India. I have been, and always will be; an artist in a perpetual search for purpose and fulfillment.

For years now, I have devoted my life to telling the love stories of others through photographing weddings. Being happily married myself, I am incredibly fond of the magic that transpires between two people in love, and feel drawn to capture that same spark for couples around the world.
Call me a hopeless romantic, but I still cry at the end of Pride & Prejudice when Mr. Darcy walks towards Elizabeth and they lovingly fall into each other’s arms. The moments that take my breath away are the moments I love to create. Inspired by a deep love for literature, art, and vintage films: my approach to photography blends the nostalgia of romanticism with an edge of editorial flare. I see the world as full of light and joy, and my images convey that same emotion.
While I always take time to craft the perfect frame, I often choose to stand back to allow moments to unfold before me. I want you to feel comfortable and at ease when you’re with me, so I always encourage my couples to experience the moment as it comes and trust that I’m there to capture those sweet intimate stories from every angle. Whether you're planing an opulent destination wedding in France or a quiet elopement: I am looking forward to telling your story.

Joshua has a keen eye and an artful touch. Blending a deep love of history, literature, fashion, and theatre, he will bring you to life inside the frame in a way you never thought possible. Growing up in South Africa, and living all over the globe in cities like: New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto, Austin, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Johannesburg, and Nairobi; he has always sought stories and still wonders what adventures are left to find in this world. He believes it’s truly about the human connection between two people, and he will do everything he can to capture the love you have. Holding a degree in Fine Art, and over 20 years of photography experience: the images he delivers won’t just tell you what happened, they will bring you back to that very day and remind you exactly how you felt.
Joshua is a Father to a wonderful son, explorer, artist, avid reader, foodie, lover of whiskey, wine and espresso, and lastly: proud dog dad.
